‘m really sad about this news… As I don’t own a 360 and aside from this game I see any reason to buy one.
Having myself experimented with creating smooth transitions between 2d and 3d using voxels (I made Metroid Cubed a few years ago), I was really looking forward to this game.
I must admit I’m even a little “jealous” in a way because it’s so close to game concepts I was playing with, and it’s the kind of game I had in mind at the time. I got caught in other projects like my Super Mario 64 editor and stopped working on my voxel game ideas.
And now I won’t even be able to play Fez, unless it’s released someday on the PC

So yeah, in case you haven’t noticed, a PC version is a must. We have a devoted indie game fanbase and at the moment, are the only people paying this game attention. This game is a big deal in the PC gaming community because we all thought we’d be getting it. It’ll do well on XBLA, hopefully, but the PC is your existing userbase of excited, enthused fans. Get it on Steam and Valve will probably do some promo work on it too.
Soo…any news on this? I’m new to the Fez bandwagon (yes, I’ve been living under a rock), but the vid and accompanying soundtrack have sold me so hard, it hurts…
Is it finished yet? Is it finished yet? Is it finished yet?
I understand that delays are sometimes necessary, but why is there no information *about* the delay? Has Fez been cancelled? Delayed six months? Please let us know!

Hate to be this way. But is early 2010 the date you’re sending it to Microsoft for them to sit on for several months or the date it’s going to be available?
Sorry, after MS sent Castle Crashers though it’s “testing” and released it as bug-infested as it was I have no faith in MS’s testing phase.

Thank the Elves, I can keep my X-Box. I haven’t found may decent games for XBLA recently. It is my severest wish that this game come to PSN as well. I would certainly purchase it for both.

Excellent,
xBox360 is the greatest engine face to PS3 and Wii but PC is still the historic and ultimate game and independant game engine.

It has been such a long time since I have seen a truly original title hitting the xbox. I can’t wait to see it in action.

we didnt make this version.
but it’s all in good fun.

Also, I only have a PC.

@ Fish
Right on. I don’t mean to be paranoid. I’m sure the doods at SMB are cool, I just know personally it sucks to get my shit jacked.
But yeah, FEZ on XBLA. Awesome!

I am still waiting for the PC version.
May 2nd, 2010 at 12:23
Just to say something new:
PC please!
and congrats.

Soo…any news on this? I’m new to the Fez bandwagon (yes, I’ve been living under a rock), but the vid and accompanying soundtrack have sold me so hard, it hurts…
Is it finished yet? Is it finished yet? Is it finished yet?
…How about now? =)

It’s no longer early 2010 and still no Fez!
I understand that delays are sometimes necessary, but why is there no information *about* the delay? Has Fez been cancelled? Delayed six months? Please let us know!

My friend argues that Ps3 > xbox 360. Any idea what to say?
